Site Management - Web Usage Report and CGI Scripts

Generating a web usage report and setting cgi script access for your site can be accomplished by performing the following steps.

Generating a Web Usage Report
  1. Go to the Site Management screen.
  2. Click the Site Settings button.
  3. Change the Ganerate Web Usage Report drop down menu to whichever "frequency" at which you would like the report generated.
  4. When you're finished, click Save Changes Button.

Setting CGI Script Access
CGI allows users to have Web sites run programs that dynamically generate HTML pages in response to specific user inputs. CGI scripts can be created on a user's desktop computer and then transferred on the Server using FTP. CGI scripts must have a .pl or .cgi filename extension.

  1. Go to the Site Management screen.
  2. Click the Site Settings button.
  3. If you would like CGI Scripts to be executed Check the box next to "Allow CGI Scripts To Run". If you do not want CGI scripts to be executed then simply click the box next to "Allow CGI Scripts To Run" until there is no check mark.
  4. When you're finished, click Save Changes Button.
