  1. What do I need if I want to use FrontPage for my Website?
To use FrontPage to design and administer your website you need to purchase the software for Microsoft FrontPage98. In addition, you need to let us know that you wish to use FrontPage so that we can enable FrontPage Server Extensions for your account.

  2. How do I use FrontPage forms to send email?
When you insert a form into a FrontPage designed webpage, you can set special options and features by right-clicking anywhere inside the form and choosing "Form Properties..." from the pop-up menu. The form properties dialog box will allow you to choose to send the results to an email address of your choice. Please note that AOL and some ISPs may not accept mail sent by a FrontPage form - contact Support for more details about resolving this issue.

  3. How do I copy my FrontPage web from my computer to Buzin.net?
The "Publish Webs..." command from the File drop down menu or the "Publish" button from the toolbar will bring up the Publish Webs dialog box. You must enter "http://" plus your full URL or IP address as the location to publish your web to. You will then be prompted for your username and password. Once your identity has been verified by the server, the process of uploading will begin. This may take a long time depending on the size of your website.

  4. How do I open my FrontPage web?
From the File drop down menu choose "Open FrontPage Web" then click "More Webs". Enter you domain name or IP address and click "List Webs". After appears in the lower pane, click "OK". If it doesn't appear and/or you get a message saying that FrontPage cannot find the site. Try it again, sometimes it takes a couple tries to get it. Enter the user name and password when prompted.

Once your FrontPage web is open, you will be working directly on the server. Any changes you make will be saved to the server, but NOT TO YOUR HARD DRIVE. It is very IMPORTANT that you keep an updated copy locally by using the "Export..." command from the File drop down menu to save changed files to your hard drive.

  5. How do I copy a file from my local hard drive to my FrontPage web if the file isn't part of my FrontPage web?
To Import a file from your hard drive to your FrontPage web, you must have your website open on the server, rather than on your local computer (see previous question). From the File drop down menu, choose "Import..." and then click "Add File..." to add a file from your local computer. You will then get a browse window from which to select the file to be imported from your local computer to your website on the server.
